About This Opportunity

The Senior Financial Analyst-Special Projects is a key member of the finance team. This role supports the business in providing financial guidance on business transformation projects and strategic long-term initiatives impacting the supply chain of Coke Canada. This position reports to the Finance Manager and will work closely with Engineering and Strategic Infrastructure Planning teams.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a primary contact for business transformation and capital projects within supply chain
  • Assess the financial feasibility of capital projects including reviewing the: Internal Rate of Return (IRR); Net Present Value (NPV); Payback period; and guiding the business on key sensitivities that may significantly impact these metrics
  • Recognize risks within projects that may hinder financial performance and identify opportunities to offset any gaps to plan
  • Conduct post-implementation analysis of special projects and analyze any variances that arise between the actuals vs. forecast/plan
  • Assist in the development of the annual budget and monthly rolling estimates for supply chain by ensuring that financial impacts of future business transformation and capital projects are included
  • Review routines and help find opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies within supply chain finance
  • Ad hoc financial analysis on various events that may arise within supply chain

Qualifications

  • Strong collaboration skills required to work with key stakeholders across different functions
  • Demonstrated track record with business partnerships by providing financial insights and recommendations
  • Understanding of accounting principles required for accurate financial reporting
  • Communicates effectively with exceptional written and verbal communication skills required to explain financial performance
  • Time management skills required to ensure critical timelines are met with a sense of urgency
  • Ability to multi-task and re-organize in response to changing priorities & tight deadlines
