Role Summary:
Our Mississauga branch requires a positive, self-motivated and team-oriented Fire Service Coordinator to support all aspects of the administration of our Service department.

Key Job Responsibilities:
Manage incoming calls and emails from internal & external customers
Issue and reconcile purchase orders
Schedule and coordinate technician inspections, verifications, and service calls
Coordinate and close work orders with multiple stakeholders including subcontractors
Prepare and implement schedules for fire alarms, subcontractors and deficiencies
Effectively communicating with our field staff, customers, contractors and vendors day and time details regarding upcoming field service appointments
To ensure that all schedule jobs are verified and confirmed with the customers at least three days prior
To ensure field service technicians is effectively and efficiently scheduled and all information needed for their jobs scope is provided
Creates and maintains the work schedule via excel spreadsheet
Reviewing and completing inspection reports and providing certification to the customer
Working with your direct supervisor to update the technician’s weekly reports

5+ years of experience in a Service Coordination role
2+ years experience in Fire and Life Safety dispatching
Computer skills, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)

More about the position:
Post-Secondary education in Office Administration or a related discipline preferred
Experience in using JDE or Microsoft Dynamics computer programs valued
Excellent written and verbal communication skills along with strong customer service and interpersonal skills
Ability to work with minimal supervision/self-motivated and desire to work on a winning team
Ability to work under pressure with meeting timelines
Excellent presentation and time management skills
Detail oriented, strong analytical, organizational skills
Self-motivator with a positive outlook
Adaptable to changing environments
Flexibility to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
